Hi all After installing on Saturday, I have found the following problems/bugs(?). I have tried searching for them but have not found any similar. 1. No language icon. Because of this problem, I have set the language to be the browser language. This is a “quick and dirty” solution and not a long term solution. Once on the site, I have to change the URL (…/de/… or …/en/…) to change the language. It should be noted that I have left the default languages of 'de' and 'en' as supplied. 2. Can’t get the “Price per 1kg” working or displaying. Nothing is displayed on the details page. I am not sure what the “0,92 EUR pro” is meant to be (see image below). 3. On the front page, the product rating overwrites the RRP on the specials (see image below). Lastly, is it possible to Thanks in advance Kit (Link nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar.)
You need to activate the option for the language chooser in template settings. That is a known problem in some cases we're trying to fix in 3.9+. There are already some fixes in place, and only small caveats in the mobile breakpoint left for now, going to be fixed with the next update 3.9.2.0. Thats the baseprice per unit. You seemingly have a quantity unit without name.
Thank you for your reply Wilken. I'm using the defaults because when I created one as "Stück (DE) - Each (EN)", the Stück was displaying on the English pages. Maybe if I resolve the first problem, it'll resolve this problem.
Layout / Design --> Template Settings -> Top-Menu -> Activate language selection in top menu Try this code in Your own css (Style Edit, open Your Style, klick on the Name of Your Style, then You see a link) Code: .productlist-viewmode-grid .product-container .rating-stars, .productlist-swiper .product-container .rating-stars, .product-container.flyover .rating-stars { margin-bottom: 20px; }
Thank you for the reply Barbara. I'll have to look at that tomorrow. @Wilken, Template settings = StyleEdit is not installed. Good night all.
While we mentioned styles... where can one download more style as the system only comes with one? This, although the sales pitch on the front pages say "templates". But then, it also says telephone support is available. What it doesn't say is what the telephone support is for as it is not for technical questions such as these.
Wilken Actually, this is actually starting to look really bad. This is my item Now if I click on the item details (Link nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar.) Now I see an error. The weight is correct but it has used the weight as the VPE value instead of using the entered VPE value of 8.48 EUR per 100g.
You make a mistake. Try it like this: if the Product has 35g per unit VPE-Value = 0.350 Quantity Unit = 100g if the Product has 300g VPE Value = 0.300 Quantity Unit = 1kg The shop calculated the price from product-price or customer-group-price und weight (VPE Value)
Hi Barbara You're right, thank you. That did the trick. Wilken, a much better design for this would be to put a parameter field (let's call it VPE Factor) on the Verpackungseinheiten panel. Then this calculation can be done automagically without any input needed at the item level. Then by default the "VPE Factor" is used. Obviously, the existing field on the item can still remain and if filled (not 0 or blank), then this would override the VPE Factor. This would mean that the user no longer needs to enter this tedious little bit of EU sessel... ahem... bureaucracy.
Also discovered today that I am reading the 3.9.1 manual... but I have 3.8.1 installed. hmmm... might have to do an upgrade this weekend.
Hey Barbara One of the naughty things is that the English translation does not always = the German version. The 100g in my image above is also in the wrong place. It should be in VPE = Packing UOM. Only once I changed to German could I see that error. Likewise Mengeneinheit = Sales UOM. @Wilken (Gambio) I have seldom seen 'piece' used as is used here. Most common in English countries is 'each'. The problem is that this part has been directly translated from the German ('pro/je stück' ). In English 'per piece'. It appears that the 'per' part is hard-coded which means that 'each' cannot be used. The result comes out as 'per each', which doesn't make sense.
